The iconic Miura P400 SV has been reimagined as a detailed Mattel Brick Shop Hot Wheels building set. And it's already available to preorder. The real one will cost you north of $4 million. This version is a tad more affordable, at $130.
Mattel's Brick Shop Premium line just launched a 1523-piece Lamborghini Miura P400 SV, a 1:12-scale building set timed to line up with the car's 60th anniversary. It's the most detailed set the brand has produced—for one of the most important cars ever built.
The Miura debuted at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show and was designed by Marcello Gandini. It became the must-have car for anyone with serious money and taste nearly overnight. The SV—which stands for Spinto Veloce—is the final and most developed version. And the one collectors argue about most. It came with wider rear arches, a stronger chassis, revised suspension, and independent gearbox lubrication. Only 150 were built.
The Brick Shop version captures the shape perfectly. The set includes opening doors, a removable roof, a metallic-finished engine, and opening front and rear compartments. Metal elements—steering wheel, exhaust pipes, wheel sets—all add weight to the details that matter. You can also customize it with skirts, spoilers, fenders, and decals. A 1:64 Hot Wheels die-cast of the Miura ships with it—a two-for-one.
At $130, it's the most accessible version of the Miura most of us will ever own. Shipping is expected to start in late July.
A few Elite Series sets were also announced, and the lineup is worth paying attention to. The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is a 793-piece, 1:16-scale build of the track-spec Vantage with opening doors, removable body panels, functional steering, and interchangeable aero components.
The '84 Audi Sport Quattro is 864 pieces at the same scale, with an opening hood, trunk, doors, and removable roof. It comes with licensed Rays metal wheel covers and room to add lighting and rally modifications.
The '94 Toyota Supra MKIV is 824 pieces, built around the tuner-era icon, complete with carbon-fiber-inspired exterior pieces, Rays metal wheel covers, functional steering, and a nitrous bottle in the trunk for anyone who grew up watching the right movies. All three include an identical 1:64 Hot Wheels die-cast, too.
