The 2027 BMW iX3 50 xDrive will start at $62,850 when it goes on sale later this year, with up to 434 miles of range, depending on the wheel and tire package. This is BMW's first Neue Klasse model and features a ton of innovations. The iX3 50 xDrive has two motors producing 463 horsepower and 476 pound-feet of torque, capable of propelling the iX3 to 60 miles per hour in 4.7 seconds.
With the right charger, owners can add up to 185 miles of range in 10 minutes and recharge from 10 to 80 percent in 21 minutes. The iX3's range depends heavily on the tires and wheels. The max range is available only with the 20-inch wheels and summer tires, a no-cost option. The standard set, 20-inch all-seasons, offers up to 393 miles of range.
BMW offers three other combinations: 21-inch summer tires, 21-inch all-seasons, and 22-inch summers, which return 398, 399, and 392 miles of range, respectively. BMW’s new crossover comes standard with the automaker’s new interior design, which features a screen at the base of the windshield called Panoramic Vision. The main infotainment display is a floating screen on the dashboard that comes with the latest BMW operating system.
Ambient lighting, wireless charging, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability are standard on the iX3. It also has several safety features, including active blind-spot detection, lane-keep assist, forward collision mitigation, and adaptive cruise control. A $1,500 Comfort Package adds a heated steering wheel, multifunction seats, and a panoramic sunroof that buyers can delete.
The Driving Assistance Professional Package is $2,500 and adds BMW’s Highway and Commuting Assistant, Traffic Jam Assistant, and Active Lane Change with Eye Activation. The M Sport Package adds a sport steering wheel, unique wheels, and various exterior and interior trim elements. It’s $2,500. The M Sport Professional Package, a $4,000 option, includes the M Sport pack and adds M Sport brakes, an M Sport wheel, and exterior glow lighting.
The Parking Assistance Package is $750, while the Technology Pack adds a 3D head-up display, a Harman/Kardon sound system, and exterior lighting. The package costs $1,900. Individual options include heated rear seats ($500), perforated Merino leather ($1,500), a heated steering wheel ($200), the Harman/Kardon sound system ($650), and a trailer hitch ($750).
