The 2027 Subaru Solterra, Trailseeker, and Uncharted electric SUVs will retain the same prices as their 2026 counterparts. The base prices for these models range from $36,470 to $41,470.
Subaru's decision to maintain the same prices for its electric SUVs is a departure from the industry trend of increasing prices annually. The average price of a new car has risen to over $52,000, with many factors contributing to this increase. However, Subaru is taking a different approach with its electric SUV lineup.
Each of Subaru's electric SUVs has a Toyota counterpart. The Uncharted is a rebadged CH-R, the Solterra is the sister model of the bZ, and the Trailseeker is essentially the bZ Woodland. While it remains to be seen whether Toyota will increase prices for its electric models, Subaru has confirmed that its prices will remain unchanged.
The front-wheel-drive Uncharted Premium starts at $36,470, while the all-wheel-drive Sport and GT models start at $41,270 and $45,270, respectively. The Solterra, which received a notable refresh last year, starts at $39,970 for the base FWD Premium model. The higher-spec Limited model starts at $42,870, and the all-wheel-drive Limited XT starts at $44,370. The top-of-the-line Touring XT starts at $47,330.
The Trailseeker lineup features a 375-hp all-wheel-drive powertrain, with base prices starting at $41,470 for the Premium model, $45,470 for the Limited, and $48,030 for the Touring.
Subaru's decision to maintain prices may be an attempt to incentivize sales. The company has sold 2,436 Trailseekers, 2,491 Uncharteds, and 5,137 Solterras. While the Trailseeker and Uncharted are new models, the Solterra's sales are down almost 21 percent compared to the same period in 2026.
