The son of Uwe Gemballa has released yet another take on a modified 911 ahead of Monterey Car Week. Have you ever found yourself behind the wheel of a brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S and thought that it was just a bit too pedestrian? With Monterey Car Week festivities taking place this week, it’s bound to happen to at least a few drivers. Luckily, the team at Marc Philipp Gemballa GmbH are ready with a new solution, thanks to the brand’s latest 911-based project known as the Marisen GT.

The Marisen GT is the latest entry from Marc Philipp Gemballa, not to be confused with the well-known tuning company Gemballa. This new GT model happens to be the second vehicle that the brand has debuted at Pebble Beach, the original Marisen having arrived back in 2021. Whereas that car was a tribute to the Porsche 959 rally cars of the 1980s, this new GT aims to bring more serious on-road performance to the catalog. Using a 992-gen 911 Turbo S as the donor car is a great way to get started on that mission.

The Marisen GT ditches Porsche’s lovely bodywork for a full carbon fiber setup, which adds some design elements from other beloved Porsche models. The new bodywork not only changes the aero balance of the car, but it also helps it shave some 363 pounds from the all-wheel drive monster. Under the rear decklid sits a familiar flat-six engine, but it's notably more powerful than the stock unit. Thanks to help from their partners at RUF, Marc Philipp Gemballa has fitted the car with upgraded variable geometry turbos and a new calibration, which results in over 830 horsepower and 694 lb-ft of torque. For those who can’t leave well enough alone, a 909-plus-horsepower kit is slated to join the offer sheet down the road.

In order to make the best use of that power, Marc Philipp Gemballa ditches the factory suspension setup for its own layout. Struts give way to double wishbones all around, while a bespoke KW Automotive active damper setup helps keep things tidy. All in, this Turbo S has been outfitted with some 1500 unique parts to transform it into a Marisen GT.

Pricing for the Marisen GT is set to start around $888,895, excluding taxes and fees ... or the base price of a donor Turbo S. Considering even the cheapest pre-owned 992.1-gen Turbo S coupe on sale these days will run more than $200,000, that means these things will easily stretch over the seven-figure mark in U.S. dollars when builds begin. The brand only plans to build 30 units, as well, so you’ll need to get your order in rather quickly.
