Ford has reportedly shown its dealers a 4-door Mustang, drawing comparisons to the Porsche Panamera, and a new affordable SUV with a starting price of $25,000. Those in attendance said it looked like a Porsche Panamera in both size and design. The vehicle showed to dealers was reportedly characterized as an early prototype.
Alleged promises from Ford’s execs about the four-door Mustang are setting expectations high. Its starting price tag is supposedly going to be under $40,000, and it will also offer a 0-60-mph time of under four seconds. The four-cylinder EcoBoost version of the four-door Mustang will likely be under $40,000, but you’ll likely need to upgrade to a bigger engine to achieve 60 mph that quickly.

Separate reporting from the Wall Street Journal stated some sources claimed the Mustang 4-door would offer a hybrid option, as well. The last alleged Mustang tidbit we’re being fed from this latest dealer meeting was some intel on the rear seat space, which is reportedly better than that offered in a Panamera.
Ford’s other small surprise at the dealer meeting was, reportedly, a new small SUV. Dealers in attendance reportedly saw mock-ups of what a compact and affordable SUV would look like, and the highlight here is price: Ford reportedly claimed this SUV will have a starting price around $25,000. It’s expected to be offered in both pure gas and hybrid forms, with an on-sale date of 2029.
