All the 2026 Monterey Car Week New Car Reveals You Need to Know

The world's largest informal auto show returns, bigger and more jam-packed than ever. Every August, the crème de la crème of the automotive world descends on a small California peninsula traditionally known for John Steinbeck's novels and Clint Eastwood's brief political career for a spectacle of excitement and excess known as Monterey Car Week.

The informal festival may have begun with the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, a classic car show on the 18th hole of one of the world's great golf courses, and that event remains its keystone, but over the years the spectacle has grown into several days of parties and showcases that stretch from the corkscrewing turns of Laguna Seca to the mist-covered shores of 16 Mile Drive.

The world's most expensive traffic jams form at every stoplight; cars so rare that you might expect to see them once in your life suddenly seem as common as yellow cabs in Manhattan. And as the gearheads have assembled, so too have the automakers. These days, nearly every carmaker that competes in the luxury space (even in a merely tangential manner) has an official presence at MCW, as its fans call the week.

With all of motordom's eyes turned to the area, many of them use the opportunity to reveal new cars and concepts—which we in the press, of course, are all too happy to share with you. So without further ado, these are the new car reveals of Monterey Car Week that you need to know about this year.

This sleek coupe isn't heading to production, but it does showcase the future of Acura design, with a top speed of over 150 miles per hour and a powerful engine producing over 300 horsepower.

The latest from Koenigsegg is the most track-oriented 'Egg yet, complete with a sequential shifter and a powerful engine producing over 1,000 horsepower and 740 lb-ft of torque.

Porsche brings the 911 Carrera T treatment of a six-speed manual gearbox to the more powerful Carrera S, but it's only for North American buyers, with a top speed of over 180 miles per hour and a powerful engine producing over 400 horsepower.
