Ram's Rumble Bee lineup of street-performance pickup trucks attempts to fill the void left by Dodge's V-8-powered muscle cars. The obvious difference is that the trucks have a cargo bed, but their interiors are arguably nicer than any Charger or Challenger.
The Rumble Bee SRT is the patriarch of Ram's "muscle truck" family, and it's interior is the nicest too.
View Price on AmazonEvery Ram 1500 Rumble Bee has a thick-rimmed, flat-bottomed steering wheel, featuring a pair of paddle shifters that control its eight-speed automatic.
The Rumble Bee logo is proudly displayed in the SRT model's seats, which are highly bolstered and covered in leather.
Want to rock out to "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'n' Roses? Ram has you covered with the available 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
There's no silly rotary shift knob in the Rumble Bees. Instead, you get this traditional shift lever on the center console.
The SRT features this engraved Rumble Bee badge on the carbon-fiber cover for the upper glovebox.
Since every Rumble Bee has a quad-cab body style, instead of the more popular crew cab, its back seat isn't nearly as spacious. But the shorter wheelbase should improve handling.
Rumble Bees with the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 and the 6.4-liter V-8 have standard cloth seats. Trucks with the smaller engine also have the smaller 8.4-inch touchscreen.
Ram hasn't released pricing for the 2027 Rumble Bee lineup, but the 5.7-liter model will go on sale first later this year. This 392 and SRT will follow in the first half of next year.
