The new 2027 Audi A3 Sedan features a revised interior with larger screens, including a 12.8-inch touchscreen and 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster. The cabin now revolves around a 12.8-inch center touchscreen, a notable increase from the 2026 model's old 10.1-inch unit. There is also a new 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster, up from 10.3 inches in the current A3.
Audi has also redesigned the dashboard to complement these new displays. The screens no longer sit within a cowl, instead standing free atop the dashboard, with a strip of accent lighting along the base of the bezel. The air vents have been repositioned from the top of the dash to below the screen, where the physical climate controls previously lived, and Audi appears to have significantly reduced the number of buttons.
Audi is further expanding the amount of driver-assistance features for the A3, although it's unclear if all of these systems will be available for the U.S. market. The main feature is Adaptive Cruise Assist Plus, which mates adaptive cruise control with active lane guidance, and the system can execute lane changes on the highway when the driver requests by using the turn-signal stalk. It will even automatically brake for red lights, and if the vehicle does not come to a complete stop, it will also accelerate again once the light turns green.
The A3 now uses "swarm data" too, essentially utilizing data collected by other cars that have traveled on the same road to adjust the vehicle's speed to the average speed for that road. This also allows the A3 to stay on the right section of the road even if there aren't visible markings. The parking-assist system now gains a remote function, allowing the driver to exit the vehicle before the vehicle parks itself.
