The 2026 Genesis GV70 is a compact luxury SUV that has consistently impressed with its design, driving experience, and features. In our latest review, we put the GV70 through its paces to see if it lives up to its reputation. With its sleek exterior and luxurious interior, the GV70 is a head-turner on the road. But how does it perform in real-world driving scenarios?
Our test drive revealed that the GV70 is a joy to drive, with responsive handling and a smooth ride. The available engines, including a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four producing 300 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, provide ample power for merging and passing. The GV70's advanced safety features, such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, also provide peace of mind on the highway.
However, our review also revealed some minor drawbacks. The GV70's infotainment system can be slow to respond, and the available third-row seats are best suited for small children. Additionally, the GV70's cargo space is limited compared to some of its competitors. Despite these minor quibbles, the GV70 remains a top contender in the compact luxury SUV segment.
